New Release: AXISVM X8 R1f

From now on, AXISVM allows the modification of steel sections into composite sections. This means that the program handles the section modification as real concrete encasement: immediately after concreting, the original steel section remains stressed, while the added concrete stays stress-free.

Starting from the X8 R1f release, the STG cross-section modification also applies to composite sections in the following cases:

• Steel section to composite section (concrete encasement)
• Composite section to steel section (removal of concrete)

Important notes:

• Composite sections cannot be exchanged with one another, even if the internal steel section is identical and only the thickness of the added concrete would change.
• A steel-to-composite section conversion is only possible if the initial and final sections are compatible.
