MAIN NEW FEATURES

RC8-S MODULE

The new RC8-S module provides the capability of fire design of RC domains according to Eurocode 2, SIA 262, and NTC standards. The RC8-B (released in AxisVM X6) and RC8-S modules provide a comprehensive tool for the fire design of reinforced concrete structures, making the design process quick and easy.

Buckling analysis of substructures

This feature allows efficient stability analysis of steel structural elements by running the buckling analysis only on substructures.

The parts defined in the model can be selected as substructures for buckling analysis.

The entire structure is included in the analysis, however elements not included in the substructure are considered as elastic supports only. The result consists of the buckling mode shapes of the elements in the substructure.

SOIL MODULE

Modelling the interaction between soil and structure

The new SOIL module enables more accurate modelling of the soil and structure interaction. The analysis of the coupled model allows the stresses and deformations in the soil to be investigated, as well as the effect of soil deformation on the structure. Based on the given borehole patterns, the program is able to generate a soil model built from 3D elements and to automatically determine the Winkler stiffnesses for the supports.

BIM AND INTEGRATION WITH OTHER SOFTWARE

BIM is a fundamental, evolving, and indispensable tool for information-driven modelling.

►AXISVM supports most “open” and “closed” BIM formats, providing up-to-date connectivity with other CAD software (including ArchiCAD, REVIT, and TEKLA)

►It supports widely used formats, such as IFC and SAF, which allow for direct data exchange between architects and structural engineers, and data transfer between structural and other design software

►The range of parametric design solutions has been extended with the Rhino/Grasshopper and Revit/Dynamo component packages. These allow both innovative systems to immediately display the parametrically built model in AXISVM and allow for continuous evaluation of the results while changing the parameters.

IFC module
Import-export of IFC files

REV module
Bidirectional connection to Revit

TI module
Bidirectional connection to Tekla Structures

SAF module

LICENSING TO ADAPT TO YOUR NEEDS

NEW & FLEXIBLE
CLOUD-BASED PROTECTION

A software protection solution that enables using AXISVM anywhere, anytime.

There are no more problems with hardware keys lost, damaged, or left in a computer. The program can be used anywhere where there is an internet connection. There is also a solution if the internet is down or the link is unreliable. This flexible licensing method is available starting from the AXISVM X7 version.

THE WELL-KNOWN
HARDWARE KEY PROTECTION

Our software has been distributed with hardware key-based protection from the beginning.

It is an ideal solution for people who use AXISVM software on a single computer. Handling a key can be cumbersome for those who travel a lot or plan to use AXISVM on several computers. For them, cloud-based protection is the ideal solution.
