Problem description #
An error occurs while trying to install the software update (it can happen with any file with the extension “dll”).

Reason #
Installing the update package without administrator rights and the program can’t replace old DLL files under AxisVM.
Solution #
- After downloading the latest Service Pack, the installation file can be found in the Updates folder under the AxisVM folder.
- Click on it with the mouse right button and choose the “Run as administrator“ option.
- If it doesn’t work, try to start !UNREGISTER_DOT_NET_ADDONPLUGIN_SERVER_v1.0.BAT file from the AxisVM folder before you install the new package.
- Try to install the software again with administrator rights (point 2).
